Welcome to The Cottage Mystic

Welcome! My name is Vervenna, and I've been a practicing witch for 20 years. During that time I've been a part of two covens (one a kitchen witch based coven and one wiccan based coven), but mostly prefer to work solitary.

Over the years I've experimented with many different types of magick; from Ceremonial magick, Chaos magick, and Heathenry, to less witchcraft based practices such as Buddhism and Taoism. At the moment my path is primarily water witchcraft, inspired by Celtic practices and folklore from around the UK.

I currently mentor as a part of an online group, specifically in Energy Work, Kitchen Witchcraft, Guided Meditation and Visualisation and Lithomancy. As well as mentoring, I also write articles and am currently awaiting the release of my first books - 'The Art of Lithomancy', out in Spring 2022, and a book on water witchcraft, out in Summer/Autumn 2022. I'm always up for reviewing others work, supporting small businesses, or helping out with podcasts, interviews, etc., so please just give me a shout if there is anything I can do!

This website originally started as a blog on blogspot; however, I enventually wanted to do more with it, so invested in this site. All of the pages you see are taken from that blog, which is why it may seem like such a random assortment of information for now. I am working on building up the sections on the various topics as I go, so please bear with me!
