As such, if you want to work with the tides, then work with the nearest source to you. For those who don't live by the sea, see if there are any rivers or such in your area that connect to the sea, and see if you can find out their high and low tide times. Type in your town, and it will show you the nearest rivers to you, as well as a day-by-day look at their high and low tides.
